施为性:从语言到图像

摘  要: “施为性”作为语言中以言行事的现象被语言哲学家提出,解构批评家们在文学研究中对其进行了开拓性的解释。随着施为性概念的扩展,图像作为一种符号无疑也具有施为的特性。在历史上图像就在人类社会中产生着崇拜信仰行为,成为显示权力塑造意识形态的一种方式。在图像化时代,图像更是通过其机械复制的特性刺激着大众的物欲,带来消费行为。作为不同类型的符号语言施为和图像施为之间既有共通之处又存在着差异,这一事实为我们在“图像化时代”审视文学与图像的关系提供了新的理论视角。

Performative: from language to visual image

Abstract: As a phenomenon of doing things with words, linguistic philosophy brought in the concept of performative, which Deconstruction critics give a more extensional explanation in literary studies. With such extentions of the concept “performative,” the visual image as a kind of sign is also performative. In human history, the visual image brought about the action to worship and believe, becoming a way of showing power and establishing ideology. In the visualized age, pictures evoke the mass’s material desire and consuming behavior through mechanical reproduction. As the different symbol systems, the language performative and the picture performative have both the commonalities and the differences, which provides a new perspective to investigate the relation of literature and picture in the visualized age.
